MycoStock exists to bring transparency and reliability to the mushroom growing supply market. Too many growers — beginners and experienced cultivators alike — have wasted money on cultures that arrive dead, spawn that is contaminated, and substrates that are improperly prepared. We started MycoStock because we believed mushroom growers deserved better: supplies that are produced with care, tested before they ship, and backed by a team that actually grows mushrooms every day.

What Drives Us

Our mission rests on three principles. First, every product should work as advertised. That sounds obvious, but in an industry where live biological products are shipped through the mail, it requires rigorous production standards. We pressure-sterilize every batch of substrate and grain, produce all cultures under HEPA-filtered laminar flow, and grow-test every batch before listing it for sale. If a product does not meet our performance standards, it does not leave our facility.

Second, growers should know what they are buying. We provide documented performance data for every culture — colonization speed, biological efficiency, and optimal fruiting conditions — so you can make informed decisions and troubleshoot effectively. We do not hide behind vague descriptions or generic stock photos. The data we share comes from our own grows, using the same substrates and conditions available to you.

Third, support should not end at checkout. Growing mushrooms involves living organisms, variable environments, and a learning curve. When you run into problems — and every grower does at some point — we want to be the resource you turn to for help.
